February 2024: The fans' peaceful protests against the league's investment plans reach their creative climax in the Rostock v HSV match, when remote-controlled cars equipped with pyrotechnics whizz across the pitch and cause the game to be interrupted. To the delight of the fans, the DFL announced on February 21 that it would not be pursuing its plans any further. At least not as committed as the order to have the cars on the pitch of the Ostseestadion!
