In the summer of 2023, Gladbach club legend Stindl will return to his boyhood club KSC after eight years at the Bökelberg to wind down his career. The captain and attacking midfielder will be remembered by Borussia not only for his loyalty, but also for his scoring prowess - which he demonstrated, among other things, against AC Florence in 2017, when he scored three goals in eleven minutes to send Fohlen into the next round of the Europa League.
